Position Overview
We’re seeking a passionate Link Building Specialist who lives and breathes SEO – someone who thinks about links first thing in the morning! You’ll be responsible for acquiring high-quality backlinks through strategic guest posting and link insertions, specifically targeting SaaS-related websites and publications.
Key Responsibilities
Link Acquisition
- Secure guest post opportunities on industry-relevant, authoritative websites
- Acquire backlinks through strategic link insertions on relevant SaaS and tech sites
- Ensure all backlinks are contextually relevant and comply with Google’s SEO guidelines
Research & Outreach
- Research and identify high-quality, niche-relevant websites for guest post and link insertion placements
- Find and verify contact details of the correct decision-makers (editors, content managers, site owners)
- Craft personalized, human-focused outreach emails that build genuine relationships
- Conduct targeted outreach to website editors, website owners, and content managers
Campaign Management
- Collaborate with the internal content team to develop engaging articles for guest posts
- Coordinate content placements smoothly and efficiently
- Track and report on link-building campaign performance and backlink quality
- Follow established processes and maintain detailed campaign records
Industry Knowledge
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and link-building best practices
- Maintain awareness of Google’s evolving guidelines for backlink acquisition
Required Qualifications
Experience (MUST HAVE)
- Minimum 1+ years of hands-on link building experience
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring backlinks through guest posts and link insertions
- Experience in publishing guest posts and understanding the end-to-end process
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing connections with SaaS website editors and content managers (MUST HAVE)
- Experience working specifically with SaaS or tech industry websites
- Knowledge of content-driven SEO strategies
- Understanding of various SaaS business models and target audiences
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of SEO best practices, particularly backlink strategies
- Proficiency with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar platforms)
- Ability to identify relevant websites within specific niches
Communication & Relationship Building
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience crafting personalized outreach emails
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with website owners and editors
